1. About Videography.lk

Videography.lk is a specialized directory and digital portfolio showcase platform created for Sri Lankan editors, videographers, motion graphic designers, and creative visual professionals. Our platform allows creators to build interactive public portfolios, list their specializations, define service rates, and share video project showcases so that potential clients (e.g. event organizers, couples, corporate entities, and agencies) can easily search for, discover, and hire them.

2. Subscription Fees and Platform Purpose

To sustain our directory infrastructure, SEO indexing, client matching systems, and profile verification resources, Videography.lk charges creators monthly subscription fees across various service tiers.

Important Legal Notice: Subscription fees are charged solely for profile hosting, search results listing features, and platform exposure. We do NOT monetize, distribute, or charge viewers for watching embedded videos. Videography.lk has no claim to the copyrights of the works linked.

• Free Tier: Limited to 1 published project.
• Starter Tier: Limited to 5 published projects ($1.00 USD/month).
• Professional Tier: Limited to 20 published projects, priority feature visibility ($3.00 USD/month).
• Agency Tier: Limited to 100 published projects, maximum featured priority ($10.00 USD/month).

3. Recurring Billing and Payments

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize videography.lk to charge your tokenized payment method on a recurring monthly basis via the **OnePay.lk** payment gateway.

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled through your user dashboard. Payment failure or manual cancellation will result in automated account downgrade and the deactivation of excess project listings.

4. Original Content Policy and Strict Embedding Restrictions

You are strictly prohibited from publishing, embedding, or linking to any video, image, or audio work that was not created by you or to which you do not own the direct intellectual property/distribution rights.

Rules for Portfolio Submissions:

• You may only submit videos where you were the primary shooter, editor, director, or motion graphic designer.
• If you co-created a project, you must explicitly detail your role (e.g. Colorist, Sound Engineer, Cameraman) in the project description text.
• Embedding unauthorized movies, broadcast clips, music videos, or stock footage that is not your intellectual property is strictly forbidden.

Enforcement and Account Actions: Plagiarism or uploading someone else's creative work is a violation of copyright law and platform trust. Doing so will result in the immediate suspension of your profile, termination of all active listings, and a permanent ban from Videography.lk without refund or prior warning.
